Discord only lets you DM a bot if you share a server with it. That is Discord's rule, not ours. Add Kenimai to any server you are already in and it does nothing there, then message it privately. On Telegram and WhatsApp you just open a chat.
A secret you type travels through Discord, Telegram or WhatsApp and sits in your chat history until you delete it. Encryption on our side does not change that. For real credentials, use the dashboard, where you add and unlock entries in a form that never becomes a chat message and is never seen by the AI. If you do use chat, delete the message once it is saved. The vault is sealed by a master password only you know, and each app keeps its data in its own encrypted file. The security page lays out the chat versus dashboard tradeoff.
Two things. First, messages. The assistant keeps a short, rolling window of your recent messages so it can follow the conversation, the way any chat needs the last few lines. It sits on our servers so the bot works. It is not a full transcript the team reads. Second, data. The assistant stores what it needs, like reminders and notes, in a separate encrypted file per app. We hold the keys that let your requests run, so that data is not sealed off from us, though we do not sit and read it. Your password vault is the exception. It is locked by a master password only you know, so we cannot open it. What we keep and why is in the privacy policy.
The allowance refills gradually through the day, so waiting gives you more. Direct commands still run, and reminders and alerts you already set keep arriving, because those do not use the AI. Only new AI requests have to wait. A paid plan gives a larger allowance, or you can connect your own provider key from OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic and others to skip the limit.
Only in direct messages. Kenimai ignores anything posted in servers or group chats and replies only in a private one-to-one chat. Adding it to a Discord server just unlocks that private message, as above.
Yes, by linking the two accounts. On the platform that already has your data, send !link to get a short code. On the new platform, send !link CODE, then confirm from the first account with !link confirm. Both platforms then read the same data. The account you link from stays the owner. !unlink reverses it.
In chat, say "delete my account" and confirm by replying DELETE. Or open the dashboard, go to Settings > Security, and do the same. Deletion runs after a 30 day grace period, and you can stop it in that window by saying "cancel deletion". To do it by email, write to [email protected].
